The Maiden

Materials: found doll head, painted; lace, tulle, found animals, painted silk flowers

 

 

The Mother

Size: 40″ x 13″ x 13″

Materials: Lace, velvet, tulle, painted plastic babies, feathers, altered doll

The Crone

Size: 40″ x 12″ x 12″

Materials: Doll parts, leather, lace, tulle, zipper, found objects, altered doll

Thoughts on birth and death: It’s the older woman, called The Crone, who has the experience of birth and death, joy and horror. Her wisdom about such matters is highly respected in many cultures and I honor her here.

 

 

The Warrior
